I’m captain Tyler cole, an experienced fly fisherman and guide in south west florida. In my fishing career I’ve chartered a boat for years, taught begging casting classes, guided all experience levels of anglers. I love this game, I Enjoy teaching new comers and I always love to help experienced anglers achieve their next goal. Let’s talk and plan an amazing trip.
Your trip experience
I offer full day trips and half day trips, for all experience levels of anglers. A short conversation before our trip will determine if you want to spend the day learning and understanding technique, or if you want to try and catch as many as you can. Sometimes learning this game, slowing things down and appreciating the moment can be more enjoyable than the number and size of fish we catch.
Our Locations
I’m based in Bonita springs Florida, which is a small beach town about 15 minutes away from fort Myers international airport. I guide in the waters of Estero bay, Matlacha and pine island. depending on time of year, tide, weather and the wind direction will determine where I’ll be fishing. of course if customers have a preference on fisheries I’m extremely accommodating.
Private casting lessons
$100 lesson For beginners all the way up to advanced anglers.The best way to practice for an up coming trip is to take a few hours with a professional guide. More than working on your “loop Structure “ or your haul, it’s understanding where to put your fly, understanding different scenarios and being prepared to handle them.

Expert Care
Sometimes critiquing technique is necessary to brake bad habits. Diagnosing those issues and having a solution can be more difficult than receiving the criticism. But being in the business of having clients catch fish gives me the advantage to help.
